This age of grace will not last forever. It will end when Jesus Christ comes to take the members of the Body of Christ ‘everyone saved during this dispensation of grace’ to heaven, where they will rule over the angels and glorify God forever. This event is called the Rapture of the Church. At this event, the members of the Body of Christ will receive glorified bodies and be manifested to be “the sons of God.” This is what the Bible calls “the adoption” of the Body of Christ that we are waiting for.
