The Gate Church – Local Fellowships
The Gate Church represents the network of local churches established under The Gate Ministries for the purpose of worshiping the Lord, teaching sound doctrine, and fostering fellowship among believers in the Body of Christ.
At present, The Gate Ministries oversees more than 100 local churches across India, with five (5) churches located in Kerala, where the ministry is headquartered. Each local church functions as a fellowship center where believers gather to grow spiritually, worship together, and be strengthened through the teaching of God’s Word rightly divided.
Our Church‑Planting Approach
The method adopted by The Gate Ministries is both biblical and purposeful. We begin by teaching the Word of God, rightly divided, in identified and strategic locations where there is a genuine interest among people to learn and grow in grace. Through consistent Bible teaching and discipleship, believers are grounded and matured in sound doctrine.
When a group reaches sufficient spiritual maturity and when there are a minimum of ten (10) members or a gathering of mature believers, a local church is formally established. At that stage, a pastor is appointed to shepherd the fellowship, ensuring continued teaching, care, and doctrinal consistency.
Our goal is to continue spreading the Gospel of the Grace of God and to establish local churches that serve as vibrant fellowship centers for the Church, the Body of Christ, throughout Kerala and across India. Each church exists not merely as a meeting place, but as a community rooted in grace, truth, and mutual edification.
