Romans 5:17, For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one’ much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. This is the end of a long parenthesis begun at verse 13. But it is filled with precious truth As death reigned because of one man’s sin, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign. Observe carefully, not those who toil and strive and sacrifice shall reign, but those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness these shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ.
