Through Paul, God began to reveal that he would form a new agency—the Church, the Body of Christ—that will rule and reign with him in the heavenly places. This “new creature,” called the “one new man,” and its heavenly hope is the focus of what God calls “the mystery” that was hid in God, not revealed before it was made known through Paul.
